Jason is an active member of the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill, which promotes ethical business practices, community projects and international development. He is currently the Director for Community Service.
Jason sits on the Board of Directors for the Richmond Hill Board of Trade and was chair from August 2019 to 2020. He is also a member of the Trinity College (University of Toronto) Corporation. Jason has been on the board of Shadowpath Theatre Productions and the Governance and Nomination Committee for the Mackenzie Health Hospital Foundation.
Cherniak Law has provided financial support to various local causes, including Mosaic Interfaith Out of the Cold, Community and Home Assistance to Seniors (CHATS), the Alzheimer Society of York Region, the MacKenzie Health Volunteer Association, Kids’ Run for Nature and the Richmond Hill Curling Club.
